Katherine Ogden of Youngstown, Ohio, a former longtime resident of the area, a retired waitress at the Globe Hotel, Middletown, N.Y., and a retired housekeeper at Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown, died Saturday, Sept. 28, at Carrington South Health Care, Youngstown. She was 83.

The daughter of the late Paul and Sarah Folberth, she was born July 26, 1908, in Hamptonburgh, N.Y. She was a member of the Holy Catholic Church, Poland, Ohio; a member of American Association of Retired Persons. She was the widow of Leroy Ogden.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Babula and Janet Wade, both of Middletown; three sons, Kenneth Ogden and Robert Ogden both of Middletown, and William Ogden of Poland, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private and held Tuesday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers.
