1804, birth of Moriah
1806, they started west and settled near Skaneateles Lake in Onondaga Co., NY, where seven more of their 11 children were born.
Sometime between 1818 and 1820, a group of the Satterlee kindred and their neighbors embarked on flat-river boats and went down the La Belle River [now the Ohio River], where the disembarked at Evansville, Indiana across the river from Kentucky.
In 1820 they are listed in the census of Pigeon Twp., Ind., with 8 children.
About 1830 they settled in La Porte Co., Ind. and remained there until after the birth of their grandson, William Wilson, son of Ossian and Susan Washburn (Pease) Satterlee.
They lived for a time in Vigo Co., Ind. and across the state line in Edgar Co., Ill.
They removed from there to Stephenson Co., Ill., and later in Green Co., Wisconsin. They returned to Edgar Co., Ill for a time and resided there until 1853.
In 1844, one son had died single.
In 1853, they moved back to Wisconsin, in Richland County, near Woodstodk where Almira died 4 years later, in 1857.
When they went to their reward, they left 10 married children to perpetuate their blood, 2 daughters and 8 sons.
