Mrs. William Ott.

Mrs. Sallie, the estimable wife of William Ott, a well-known farmer who resides in South Middleton township, about a mile south of Carlisle and near the Mt. Holly pike, died at her home on Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock. She had been ill for the past four months and the cause of death was consumption. Mrs. Ott was 35 years of age, a member of the German Baptist Church, a consistent Christian woman and a kind and loving wife and mother. She was a daughter of Levi Shatto, of this place, but who for many years resided on his farm near Sterrett's Gap. Her husband and two children, Cora and Albert, her father and these brothers and sisters survive: Samuel Shatto, California; Mrs. Maria Warner, Arkansas; Mrs. Solomon Byers, Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Lizzie Ditman, Williams' Grove; Mrs. William Beetem, Huntsdale; Mrs. Fannie Williamson, near Mt. Holly, and Joseph Shatto, the well-known lumber dealer of this place.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning, meeting at the house at 9 o'clock. Interment at Baker's Church, near Churchtown.
