Patricia A. Frank East Lansing Patricia A. Frank, age 78, formerly of Holly, MI died Monday December 24, 2012. Pat was born in Akron, OH on March 9, 1934 the daughter of Ruhl and Mary (Pfautz) Carper. She was a member of the Holly Presbyterian Church and she touched many lives as a former school teacher in the Akron School District and drug and alcohol rehabilitation counselor at Interval Brotherhood Homes and Edwin Shaw Hospital in Akron, OH. She brightened the world with her smile, compassion and grace. Surviving are 2 children, Cathy (Rob) Privette of East Lansing and Michael (Vicky) Frank of Seattle, WA; 2 grandchildren, Sarah and Franklin Privette; former husband Mike Frank of Canton, OH; and many friends at Holly Woodlands and Burcham Hills Retirement Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holly Presbyterian Church, 207 E. Maple St., Holly, MI 48442. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 5, 2013 at the Holly Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Sharlyn Gates officiating.
