Charles Stephens, died Dec. 28, 2012, in Eureka Springs, Ark.

He was born in Grubbs Township in Stegall, Ark., on July 12, 1926, to George and Roszilla Stephens.

He loved farming, preaching and singing in the family gospel singing group. He also established and managed the family owned Stephens Drywall Business.

He is survived by his sons, Calvin L. Stephens and wife Mary Lou of Hiwasse, Arthur B. Stephens and wife Brenda June of Rogers, Donald C. Stephens of Rogers, William M. Stephens and wife Judy Lynn of Molalla, Ore., Phillip L. Stephens and his wife Rebekah Sue of Arcata, Calif., and Paul T. Stephens of Rogers; also by his two daughters, Frances Lenora Shrader and husband Larry of Huntsville and Sandra Rosetta Cobble and her husband William Dudley of Sapulpa, Okla.

He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at 10 a.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, with military honors will follow at Rambo Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 5-7 p.m.
