J. C. Ray To Be Buried at Zion Church Tuesday

J. C. Ray died at his home three miles east of Macon at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, following several years of affliction. He was 68 years old.

He leaves to mourn his going his wife and two sons, Murvin Ray of Illinois and Murl Ray of near Macon. Two grandchildren also survive him.

Mr. Ray was one of Macon County's outstanding citizens.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at Zion Church, 5 miles northwest of New Cambria, conducted by the Rev. E. C. Whitsitt, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery by the side of his first wife, under the direction of Albert Skinner.
