Laura E. Savage, age 58 of Carneys Point passed away on Saturday May 12, 2012 in Christiana Hospital. Born in Mannington, daughter of the late Harry L. and Mildred (nee Asher) Savage, she was a lifelong resident of Carneys Point. Laura had been employed as a teacher at Park Bible in Pennsville and most recently as a home health aide for Salem County Home Health.
She is survived by her aunts and uncles, Forrest Ebb Asher and his wife Bettie, William C. Asher and his wife Edna, Lillian "Kitty" A. Gessner and her husband Dick and Emma "Sugar" Huber and her husband Bill as well as many cousins.
A graveside service will be held 11 AM Saturday in the First Baptist Cemetery, Woodstown.
