OTTO JESPERSEN DIED DECEMBER 5 IN SOUTH DAKOTA

Older Blair residents will recall Otto Jespersen, one-time Washington County resident who died at Belle Fourche, South Dakota last Tuesday, December 5th. He was 77 years old.

He was born at Blair April 20, 1895 and engaged in farming here until about 20 years ago when he retired from farming and moved to South Dakota.

A veteran of World War I, he became a resident of the Veterans Hospital at Belle Fourche.

He was never married. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lena Jensen, of Quinby, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary last Saturday, December 8th. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery. The Rev. Sanford Sorgen of the First Lutheran Church conducted the funeral service.

Pallbearers were nephews.
