Thursday, December 27, 2012, at her home in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 88. Louise married Lindell B. Norvill on June 8, 1947 at the First Christian Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Louise was a High School Home Economics teacher for many years before retirement as well as a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was also a member of the Mother's Club and enjoyed playing bridge.
Mrs. Norvill is survived by her daughter, Lulyn Williams of Lindsay, Oklahoma, one sister, Lorene Vaut of Vermont, her grandsons: Matt Williams and Bryan Williams and four great-grandchildren: Arica, Bo, Maddy and Cade Williams.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Lindell Norvill on June 5, 2009 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was also preceded in death by her son, Lindell Pratt Norvill, her parents R.D. "Bob" and Myrtle Pratt and four sisters: Kate Conklin, Faye Simms, Mary Lena Sylvester and Hazel Estes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Norvill are set for ten o'clock a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the First Christian Church, located on S.W. 4th Street in Lindsay, Oklahoma with The Rev. Mr. William H. Bentley, PhD officiating. Interment will follow at Bradley Cemetery in Bradley, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
