Bessie E. (Barberi) Alexander, passed away on Jan. 2, 2005, in Morgan Hill, CA, age 87. She was born in St. Louis, MO, but had been a long-time resident of Hollister and had lived in Santa Clara prior to living in Morgan Hill for the last 10 years. She will be remembered as a gifted singer, being able to make the tastiest meals out of the simplest ingredients and she made the best-ever apple pie.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Louis A. Barberi and Russell Alexander. She is survived by her sons, Anthony L. Barberi of Santa Clara, and Frank A. Barberi and his wife, Emma, of Sparks, NV; grandson and his wife, Anthony D. and Tina Barberi of Morgan Hill. She was mother-in-law to May DeLucchi of San Jose.

She will be missed by her extended family at Hillview Convalescent Hospital in Morgan Hill.

Committal services were held on Thursday, Jan. 6th, at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel with entombment following. Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
