From a posting today on the Patton Funeral Home website: CATHERINE ELIZABETH BAGBY, 67 of rural Huntsville, died Thursday, December 28, 2012 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. She was born October 20, 1945 in rural Huntsville the daughter of David C. and Ruth M. (Hawkins) Baumann, Sr. Catherine was a graduate of Huntsville High School, Class of 1963. Catherine married Terry Bagby on September 9, 1969 at the First Christian Church in Huntsville and together they farmed on a farm southwest of Huntsville. Survivors include her husband of the home,a daughter, Dr. Stephanie Bagby-Stone and her husband Dr. Andrew Stone of Columbia, two brothers, Jim and George Baumann, three sisters, Mary Ann Haggard, Patsy Boland and Norma Ealy and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David C. Baumann, Jr. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 1:30p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville with burial in the Bagby cemetery south of Huntsville. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 4 till 6:00p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Bagby Cemetery or NAMI (National Alliance on Mental illness.
