Janice Elaine Adams Larsen, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Dec. 24, 2012. She was born Nov. 1, 1935 in Logan, Utah, to parents Lyle and Phoebe Adams. Janice was the youngest of three children, and spent her growing up years in Logan, where she graduated from Logan High School in 1953.

She met her sweetheart of 59 years, Don Earl Larsen, and they were married Oct. 1, 1953. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Logan LDS Temple, September 26, 1979. Janice and Don were blessed with three children: Vickie, Doniel and Kirk.

Janice worked for First Security Bank for many years where she made many lasting friendships. Janice was a member of the LDS church, where she served actively in stake and ward callings. Janice and Don served two LDS missions in Portland, Ore, and Detroit, Mich.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Vickie and brothers Duane and Bob. She is survived by her husband Don, son Doniel (Lynda), son Kirk (Shauna) and seven grandchildren: Kenny, Angie, Adam, Alisa, Jared, McKay and Erika.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Logan Nursing and Rehab Center, CNS Hospice and the friends and neighbors whom have supported Don and Janice. Janice will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2012, at the Logan 29th Ward building, 792 N. 500 East. Friends and relatives may call from 6 to 8 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. in Logan, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net
