Florence Talley, 73, Kokomo, passed away at 3:28 AM, Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Saint Joseph Hospital. Florence was born in Kokomo on March 7, 1939 to the late Claude and Martha (Thitts) McKinney. In 1972 she married Steve Talley. Steve passed away in February of 2004.

Florence worked at the Pharos Tribune, in Logansport for many years until retiring in 2003. She enjoyed watching Elvis movies, singing, and going for scenic car rides. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her; two children; Mike Talley, Kokomo, Tina (Tony) Green, Bluffton, two brothers; Raymond McKinney, Kokomo, John McKinney, Kokomo, one sister: Mary Ann Wise Hart, Peru, grandchildren; Quinton Talley, Kaysie Talley, Charlie Talley, Tiffany Talley, and Stevie Cox.

Preceded in death; are her parents, husband, and one grandchild; Jesse Talley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 South Main Street, with Rev. Calvin Peck officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the mortuary.
