Funeral services for Herman G. Gumm, 69, of 1344 Martin Ave., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Nickel's Funeral Home.
The Rev. Vernon Jaberg, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery at Cleveland.
Mr. Gumm died unexpectedly Thursday while, visiting in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
Born May 4, 1899, in the Town of Mosel, he was the son of the late Peter and Minnie Conrad Gumm and was confirmed at St. Mark's Church in the Town of Mosel.
Mr. Gumm was married to the former Hertha Wilke at St. Mark's Church on May 24, 1924. The couple had lived in Sheboygan since their marriage.
He was employed as a route salesman for the City Bakery before retiring in 1966.
Survivors included his wife; one son, Ronald, Sheboygan; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Geraldine) Froh and Mrs. Roger (Beatrice) Schlafke, both of Sheboygan; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Byrd, Beatrice, Neb., and Mrs, Ella Schwartz, Milwaukee.
One brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Nickel's Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
The members of the Brotherhood of St. John's Church will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Sunday.
A memorial fund in Mr. Gumm's name has been established for St. John's Church.
