She married her husband, Henry Barber, in 1939, in St, Cloud, FL. They were married for 67 years before his passing in 2006.
Vivian retired as a secretary from the Florida State Employment Services. She was a member of Powers Drive Baptist Church for over 42 years, serving as a Sunday School Teacher. She served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 64 years, and continued teaching until one year ago. She had a passion for sewing, crocheting, gardening, traveling, and cooking for her family.
