Nancy Ann GELENWATERS was born Oct. 12, 1852 at Rogersville, Tennessee. She departed this life Fe. 23, 1931 at Liberal, Kansas, age 78 years, 4 months and 11 days. She was converted at an early age and united with the Baptist church, lived a christian life and was a devoted member at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Hamilton C. WINSTED of Rogersville, Tennessee in 1871. To this union were born 12 children. Her husband, one son and two daughters preceded her in death. In 1874 she moved with her husband and their family to Washington Co. Arkansas. In 1875 they returned to Tennessee for 10 years after which they again returned to Washington County, Arkansas where she resided until two years ago when she moved to Kansas. For the past year she has made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Lula ROBINSON of Liberal, at which place she resided at the time of her death.

She leaves to mourn their loss six sons and three daughters, W. C. WINSTED of Van Buren, Ark.; H. E. WINSTED of Forgan, Okla.; S. A. WINSTED of Pittsburg, California; J. H. WINSTED of Evansville, Ark.; J. B. WINSTED of Satanta, Kansas; W. K. WINSTED Ledon, Nebraska; Mrs. Lula ROBINSON, Liberal; Mrs. Mary LOTT of Gentry, Ark.; Mrs. Sallie McATEE of Concord, California; a number of grand and great grand children, other relatives and a host of friends.
