She married J. Lester Harris in 1936. They moved to Harrison area in 1947 where they built and operated The Long Lake Cabinet Shop. Myrtle also worked at Holly Carburetor in Clare for 5 years.
She was an avid baker, cook, deer hunter, fisherman and loved camping.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by 4 children; Jeanetta Harris, Loraine (Floyd) O'Hare, Julia (John) Raymond and John (Mary) Harris Jr., 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grand children, 1 brother; Paul Rittenour and 1 sister; Evelyn Lideke.
In keeping with Myrtle's wishes cremation has taken place and there was no service.
