Suggested edit: Mrs. Ann Bayliss, relict of the late Walter Bayliss, died last week at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. J. G. McGill, Rubyanna, Bundaberg district. She was a native of Birmingham, England, and came out to Queensland 46 years ago, and lived practically the whole of these years in the Bundaberg district. A woman of sterling character, the fine old lady enjoyed the esteem of a large circle of friends (says the "News and Mall"). She had attained the great age of 83 years. She retained the best of health until about a fortnight ago. She is survived by two sons. Messrs. Walter (Sharon). and Godfrey (Ipswich), and two daughters. Mrs. J. G. McGill (Rubyanna) and Money (New Zealand).
