Mrs. Riley passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in Keene, Texas. She was born to George Robert and Hazel Beck Holder on Feb. 2, 1923, in Hollywood, Ala. She married James Leonard Riley on July 14, 1943. She worked as an instrument technician for both Johnson County Memorial Hospital and Walls Regional Hospital. She was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was devoted to her family. She was an avid animal lover, especially of dogs and cats. Her bubbly personality and giving spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, James Patrick Riley; and one nephew.
Survivors include her grandson, Jacob Riley; several great-grandchildren; one niece; six nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends, including Martha Bradburry.
