Windsor Llewellyn Reed, age 83, of Roosevelt, passed away December 19, 2012 at home.

He was born March 11, 1929 in Evanston, Wyoming to Jessie J. and Georgia Carolina Golliher Reed.
He married Hazel Page December 12, 1973 in Las Vegas, Hazel preceded him in death by just 15 days on December 4, 2012.

Windsor was raised in Wyoming. He left school at age 15 to work on a ranch. While still young, he worked at and operated a dude ranch. He then became a long haul truck driver for many years driving all over the country. He drove truck for a number of companies, among them PIE, and Earl Hatch. While working for Hatch they kept sending him to the Uintah Basin, so he moved here. He was also a diesel mechanic and worked for Taylor Trucking and Shade.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was a High Priest, and he and Hazel worked in the church cannery for 15 years.

He was an avid antique car participant. He helped plan the annual antique car show for Roosevelt. He built a 1931 Ford antique truck for which he received numerous trophies. He loved traveling with Hazel, enjoyed fishing, dancing, car shows, and building tables and clocks from wood he would purchase while traveling.

Windsor is survived by children, Arthur B "Bud" (Vivian) Anderton, Mary Jane (Grant) Mohlman, North Las Vegas, daughters-in-law, Ila Vay Anderton and Faye Anderton; 22 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers, Lloyd Reed, Evanston; and Jay Reed, Rock Springs, WY; and a sister, Florence Watson, Layton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James, sister, Arlene, sons, Sam and Tom Anderton, and grandson, Joe Anderton.

Funeral services held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, where there will be a viewing 1 hour prior to the service.

Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
