Jewell Curry Vincent, 98, of Wichita Falls died Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Wichita Falls. Services have been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Charlie Thomason of Faith Village Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
Jewell was born August 1, 1914 in Bonham, Texas to Hershel and Bessie (Ownby) Curry. In 1938 she married A.J. Vincent in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a hairdresser and also traded real estate. She was a faithful member of Faith Village Church of Christ. She was a wonderful cook and an accomplished seamstress.
Mrs. Vincent is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, A.J. Vincent in 1977; parents, Hershel and Bessie Curry; sisters, Fay Copeland, Lucille Bryant, Hershie Griffin; and brother, James Curry.
Survivors include her two sisters, Mary Peterson of Wichita Falls, and Avis Cerveny of California.
