Mildred "Joan" Ream, age 82, of Greenfield went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born June 2, 1930 at Norwood, OH. the daughter of the late Orda Orr and Mary (Potts) Lutz. Mildred was a member of the Shirley Christian Church, Published Poet, hostess for James Whitcomb Riley Home, former owner of the Bittersweet Memories Antique Mall, Knightstown,IN. Survivors include five daughter; Shirlee (Rodney) LaHuis of Grand Rapids, MI. , Laura (Michael) Shively of Shelbyville, Deborah ( Dave) Ross of Greenfield, Sheila (Ronald)Steele of Indianapolis, Sarah (Jerry) Brain of Indianapolis, twenty four grandchildren, twenty six great grand children, two great grandchildren due in February, one sister Martha (Paul) Mikesell of Columbus, OH., several nieces and nephews and special friend John Knox. She was preceded in death by parents, husband; Walter Ream Sr, sons; Walter Ream Jr., Charles W. Ream grandson; Chad A Lahuis, sisters; Phyllis A Barker, Shirley Bailey two brothers, Richard and Robert Lutz.
Funeral service will be held Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Gary Sickle officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
