Tobinsport - James R. "Tiny" Newgent, 59, died at 6:30 pm Thursday, November 23, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
He was born in Perry County June 12, 1949 to the late Lawrence R. "Booge" Newgent and Mary L. "Doll" Spencer Newgent McFall. Also preceding him in death were his sisters. Linda Ransom and Lolita Sandage.
He was a self-employeed boat captain in Florida and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving are a daughter, a brother; a grandaughter.
Graveside services will be at noon Monday (today) at Lamb Cemetery in Tobinsport, Brother Eddie Olberding will officiate.
There will be no visitation at Huber Funeral Home in Cannelton.
