Married Joseph Monroe Tyler on January 1, 1922. They had three children who survived to adulthood - Annie Lucile Tyler James, Mrytle Nell Tyler Grier, and Joe Louis Tyler. Lucile pre-deceased Joseph Monroe Tyler by 3 years. Joseph Monroe Tyler may have remarried after her death and his existing wife may have decided to bury him in Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia rather than bury him beside his wife of 58 years in Spring Hill Cemetery, so that she could be buried with him. The obituaries of both daughters give no indication that their parents were divorced.
