John Christian Mickelson, 95, of Cloquet passed away Thursday, July 21, 2005 in Memorial Medical Center in Ashland, Wis. He was born Jan. 19, 1910 in Finlayson to John S. and Edla (Luma) Mickelson. John married Hazel Hillman on May 14, 1938 in Cloquet. John retired from Northwest Paper Co. in 1972. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel on June 2, 2001; his daughter-in-law, Judith Mickelson; a granddaughter, three sisters, and two brothers. He is survived by three sons, John Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev., Milton (Joan) of Ashland, Wis., and William (Anita) of Petaluma, Calif., eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. VISITATION:10 until the 11 a.m funeral service Tuesday, July 26, 2005 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet.
