Nelson W. Albright, retired farmer and bank director, died last night at his home near Hogestown after a long illness. He was 60 years old.

Earlier yesterday he had been re-elected a director of the Mechanicsburg Trust Company and just a day before his death he had been re-elected a member of the board of the Patrons' Mutual Fire Insurance Company.

A native of Perry county (sic), he had resided in Silver Spring township, Cumberland County, since his early youth. He retired from farming ten years ago. In addition to his banking and insurance company connections, he was a director of the Cumberland Auto Protective Society and a member of the Hogestown Grange. He was an active member of the First United Brethren church (sic), Mechanicsburg, for many years.

Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Annie Stouffer Albright; one son Raymond, a daughter, Mrs. Walter A. Eckert, both of Silver Spring township; five grandchildren; one brother, George Albright of Kollertown; and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Blair, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Emmanuel Brubaker, Mechanicsburg.

Mechanicsburg, Jan. 12. - Brief funeral services will be conducted for Nelson W. Albright, prominent Cumberland county (sic) farmer and bank director, who died Tuesday night at his home near Hogestown, at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, at the home, with further services in the First United Brethren Church, Mechanicsburg. The Rev. Dr. Carl N. Mundie, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg cemetery (sic).

The Mechanicsburg Trust Company had just re-elected him as a member of the board of directors of the institution a few hours before his death. He had also be re-elected a director of the Patron's Mutual Fire Insurance Company a day prior to his death.

He was also a director of the Cumberland Auto Protective Society and a member of the Hogestown Grange.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Anna Stouffer Albright; one son, Raymond, a daughter, Mrs. Walter A. Eckert, both of Silver Spring township; five grandchildren; brother, George Albright; (sic) of Kollerstown, and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Blair, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Emmanuel Brubaker, of Mechanicsburg.
