Paul D. Dotson, Sr., 81, passed away Friday at Renaissance Health Care in Muncie following an extended illness.
He was born in Kokomo, Indiana. He worked for 35 years for the United States Post Office in Muncie as a letter carrier.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty (Larrabee) Dotson; three children, Paul "David" (wife-Linda) Dotson, Jr., Melody (husband-David) Holloway, Kristin (husband-Robert) Hoffman; sister, Betty Butz; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Jay Dotson; and a special ex-daughter-in-law, Carolyn Dotson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Opal (Gregson) Dotson; one brother, George Dotson, Jr.; three sisters, Gladys Ott, Juanita Rants, and Mary Thornburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Rush officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Monday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
