A funeral service for Patsy Carroll, age 75, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, with Shane Carrington officiating. Interment will follow at North Hopkins Cemetery, with Heath McGraw, George Walker, Marlin Jones, Mitchell Taylor, Mitch Ramsey, Don Petty and Thad Gregory serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Patsy Carroll passed away at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab. Monday morning, December 24, 2012. She was born in Hopkins County on August 20, 1937, the daughter of Curtis Rushing and Bonnie (Terrell) Rushing. She married Jim Carroll. He preceded her in death. She was retired from Munves Fashion and a member of Southside Church of Christ. Survivors include: daughter, Debra Norton and husband Larry of Lake Fork; son, Larry Underwood and wife Robyn of Greenville; sister, Sue Cribbs of Athens; three brothers, Kenneth Rushing of Huntsville, Shelby Rushing of Huffman and Larry Rushing of Conroe; nine grandchildren, Heather Lester, Holly Christie, Ryan Coursey, Nathan Norton, David Norton, Cameron Underwood, Falyn Hoskins, Lacy Elliott and Jake Elliott; ten great-grandchildren; Chandi Christie, Tatum Coursey, Laramie Coursey, Landon Coursey, Austin Norton, Matthew Norton, Journie Rose Norton, Jacey Elliott, Tristyn Snyder and Joshua Snyder.
