Mollie Lyn Gardner, 59, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, December 26 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28 at the First Baptist Church in Hamilton. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Mollie was born on July 13, 1953 in Hamilton. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1971, after which she attended Texas Women's University and Baylor University. She worked in banking and retail before relocating to Hamilton to work in her family's business, Farmers Propane Gas Company.

For many years, she enjoyed traveling the world with her mother, Frances Guest Gardner. Molllie volunteered at the Hamilton County Historical Museum. She is preceded in death by her father, Luther Winford Gardner, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Frances Gardner, brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Sara Lee Gardner, niece; Helen Frances Gardner, Nephews; John Madison Gardner and Luther Winford Gardner, III. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Hamilton General Hospital or the charity of your choice. Riley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
