Lynn native worked in automobile industry

BARNSTABLE — Robert (Bob) Wheeler Earle of Barnstable, MA passed away peacefully in Freeport, Grand Bahama on April 4, 2012, while on holiday at his Caribbean residence.

Mr. Earle was born in Lynn, Mass., in 1941, where he graduated from Lynn English High in 1959. He was a retiree of General Motors in Framingham, MA where he spent his entire career. Even though Mr. Earle worked within the automotive industry, his true passion was modifying and restoring cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, both in Barnstable and Freeport.

Mr. Earle was preceded in death by his father, Warren Earle of Peabody, MA and his sister, Joanne Black of Salem, MA.

Service Information: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Grace Episcopal Church at 385 Essex St. in Salem, Massachusetts. The family invites all Bob's friends to come and celebrate his life with them, and requests that instead of flowers, a donation be made in his name to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (http://www.ccfa.org).
