Glenn Ray Kirk, age 59, died May 11, 1993 in Salt Lake of a heart attack while at work at the LDS Business College.

Born October 20, 1933 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, son of Wallace Ray and Cora Eleanor Tomlinson Kirk. Married Joan Lambert June 11, 1960 in the St. George LDS Temple. Graduate of BYU with BS and MA degrees.He served an LDS mission to the Gulf States. Veteran of U.S. Army. Served as bishop of the Taylorsville 10th and 30th wards and as a branch president in Nevada. At the time of his death, he was serving as a councilor in the stake presidency of the Taylorsville Utah Central Stake. He was an educator at Yerington High School in Nevada and LDS Business College.

Survived by wife, Joan; son, Stephen, both of Taylorsville; daughters, Suzanne, Murray; Jennifer, Taylorsville; brother, James Lowell Kirk, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Lois Reger, St. George.

Preceded in death by son, Jeffrey David; two brothers, Lynn and John; two sisters, Genele and DeeAnne.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville Central Stake Center, 4950 South 1950 West. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday, at the church, 10:45-11:45 a.m.

Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
