Mrs. Wilma Jean Woods, age 80, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012. She was born March 15, 1932 to the late M. H. and Eunice Stewart.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Reed's Chapel with burial in the Henderson County Memory Gardens.
She graduated from Lexington High School, class of 1950, and obtained employment at Salant & Salant for a short time. She retired from Johnson Controls after 30 years. She was a faithful member of the Lexington Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Woods; one sister, Virginia Bedwell; one grandson, Adam Lee Jowers; one great-grandson, Hayden Fuson; and one daughter-in-law, Tabitha Woods.
Survivors include three daughters, Wilma Fuson of Bucyrus, OH, Donna Franklin and husband Tom, and Judy Jowers and husband Donny, all of Lexington, TN; one son, Billy Woods of Lexington, TN; one brother, Max Stewart and wife Joyce of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
