SUSIE B. MARVIN

Susie B. Marvin, 93, a resident of Centralia for the past month, formerly of Puyallup, died Saturday, Aug. 21, in a Centralia nursing home.
She was born May 30, 1889, in Bucoda, and was a housewife. Mrs. Marvin belonged to the Olympia Chapter of the Pioneer Association of Washington State, Tacoma and Pierce County Geneological Society and Homer Webster Post 2961, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Six children preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Val (Helen) Goodell of Puyallup, Mrs. James (Beth) Porn and Mrs. Edwin (Florence) Harding, both of Centralia; 42 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren, and two sisters-in-law, May Padham of Centralia, and Louise Marvin of Spokane.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Newell-Hoerling's Chapel, Centralia, with the Rev. William C. Hunter officiating. Cremation will take place in Olympia.
