RETIRED MILL MAN PASSES
A longtime Centralia resident, Raymond Keagle Marvin, 69, succumbed to death Sunday in a local nursing home.
Mr. Marvin, born Dec. 31, 1894, in Michigan, had lived in the city for 64 years. He was a retired mill operator. The family home is at 207 North Oak street.
Surviving the deceased are his wife, Susie Belle, whom he wed as Susie Belle Cales on Aug. 31, 1909 in Bucoda; two sons, Raymond C. Marvin, Coos Bay, Ore., and John C. Marvin, in the air force and at Bitburg, Germany; seven daughters, Mrs. Helen Goodell, Puyallup; Mrs. Berna McCartney, Burley, Wash.; Mrs. Elizabeth Porn, Galvin; Mrs. Luzana Channell, Westport; Mrs. Raymona Merritt, Olympia; Mrs. Florence Harding, route 2, Centralia, and Mrs. Cleo Dros, Centralia; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Foster and Mrs. Hazel Duckwitz, both Tenino, and Mrs. May Padham, Centralia; brother, Norman Marvin, Spokane, and 38 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Newell-Hoerling's. The Rev. N. Harry Champlin wil officiate and interment will be at Mountain View.
