He was born in Alba, Mo., was an army veteran of World War I and served with the Seattle fire department for five years before joining the police force in 1926. He attained the rank of sergeant in 1932 and was retired on a disability pension in December, 1945.
Surviving are his widow, Merle; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Conner, Seattle; Mrs. Robert Tibbs, Everett and Mrs. Geraldine Peterson, Hancock, Mich., and a brother, Heanon Decker, Seattle.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Home Undertaking chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
