Marion Doss, age about 78 yrs., died at his home on Frisby avenue at 7:45 Tuesday morning after an illness of nearly a year.
He was born near Jamestown, Tenn., and moved here as a young man. For the last twenty years he has been a helper in the Outlook office and had many friends. He was always one of those witty characters and always had an answer ready and was thoroughly honest.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday by his pastor, Rev. Ilus Q. McCorkle of the Christian church, followed by burial at the Green Betty Cemetery on Morris Hill.
