Memorial services for Mildred Risinger Ballington, 83, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Watson officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mrs. Ballington, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Born in Leesville, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Nettie Stoudemire Risinger and was married to Oliver C. Ballington, Sr. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church and was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, daughters, Deborah B. (Mel) Steele, Reidsville, NC, Cheryl B. (Phil) McCarthy, Gilbert, SC and Audrey B. (Jeff) Dellinger, Raleigh, NC, sons, Oliver C. "Butch" (Rita) Ballington, Jr., Gilbert , SC, Rodney D. Ballington, Lexington, SC, sister, Betty Steele and brother, Charles Risinger of Lexington, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Steve and Sammy Risinger.
