Nina R. Butler, 62, Marion went to be with her Lord Friday in Colonial Oaks Health Care Center, Marion. Nina was born to Raymond and Doris (Barton) Butler and they preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Tim who died in 2006.

She was a life resident of Grant County and was a member of Eastview Wesleyan Church in Gas City. She was a graduate of Mississinewa High School and had formerly worked at the Brainard Indian Missions in South Dakota. She also had worked at Carey industries.

She is survived by her brother, Arthur (Nancy) Butler, Peoria, Ariz.; three nephews, Scott Butler, Shane Butler and Stephen (Kristi) Butler, all of Arizona; two great-nephews, Joshua and Zachary of Arizona; a step niece, Nicole Grassman; and a host of friends.

A celebration of Nina's life was held Wednesday in Eastview Wesleyan Church, Gas City, with Rev. Louis O'vell officiating. Burial was made in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
