A daughter of the late William and Alma Davis, she was born Sept. 4, 1929, in Tucker, Ga. and lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia. She was retired from Stephens County Hospital where she served as dietician for some 15 years. She attended New Testament Holiness Church in Westminster, S.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dickson and two sisters, Margie Slavin and Jane Davis.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Hicks of Lavonia and a son, Tommy Dickson of Toccoa; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Yarger of Mansfield, Ga. and Martha King of Carnesville, Ga.; two brothers, Walter Davis of Nicholson, Ga. and Harold Davis of Gainesville, Ga.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 13, at 2 p.m. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Drake officiating.
Interment was in Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery
