Mrs. Elsie Martha Hein, 87, of Caldwell, formerly of Waco, died Wednesday, March 23, 1983, at a Caldwell hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 25, at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home Chapel in Caldwell with the Rev. James C. Hill officiating. Burial will be at Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.

Elsie Schumacher was born in Burleson County, Texas. On December 19, 1915, Elsie married Mr. Gus Hein in Caldwell, Burleson Co., Texas.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Ethel Provazekc, of China Spring, and Mrs. Gladys Clowers, of Pasadena; son, Gilbert Hein, of Caldwell; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Olga Osada and Mrs. Rosie Reichel, both of Waco; brothers, Otto Schumacher, of Waco, and Walter Schumacher, of Detroit, Mich; other relatives and many friends.
