A graveside service was scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today in New Beaver Dam Cemetery at Buchanan for mechanic, truck driver and former butcher Timothy Duane Dunlap of Buchanan. Randy Stephens was to officiate.

Chosen as pallbearers were Gary Burnett, Johnny Hoffman, Jason Dunlap, Teddy Wade, Richard Dunlap and Steve Thompson.

Visitation was from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today.

Dunlap, 55, died of cancer Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at his residence.

Born Nov. 22, 1957, in Paris, he was the son of Margaret Ann Enoch Dunlap of Buchanan and the late Rufus Dunlap Jr.

Dunlap attended the Community of Christ Church. He was an avid horseman, according to his mother and had worked as a butcher at McClain's Meat Processing and driven a truck for Bud Mangrum.

He also leaves one daughter: Megan (Mike) Stevens of Newport News, Va.; one son: Jason Dunlap of Buchanan; one sister: Janice (Larry) Turner of Buchanan; one grandmother: Mandy Pauline Enoch of Paris; and five grandchildren: Taylor Dunlap and Chloe, Dylan, Emma and Natalie McFadden.
