The funeral of our old friend and neighbor, Alexander Coffin was held at the Little Utica church Sunday, December 11, 1910. Interment was made at Jacksonville.
COFFIN—At the home of his grandson, Wallace A. Adsit; in Baldwinville Thursday, December 8, 1910, Alexander M. Coffin, aged 84 years and 5 months. Funeral services were held at the Little Utica M.E. Church Sunday. Interment was made in Jacksonville cemetery. He is survived by one son, B. Coffin, one daughter, Mrs. O.M. Adsit, two grandchildren, Wallace A. Adsit and Sarah Bassett Adsit. Mr. Coffin was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, his parents coming to that place from Massachusetts May 8, 1810. His mother, Sarah Bassett Coffin, lived to the ago of 101 years.
