He was the son of Samuel and Helen (Brown) Meek. Mr. Brown was married to Geneva Dalton on Saturday, June 03, 1950, in Neosho, MO. He was a truck driver. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pierce City, MO.
Surviving are the following: his wife, Geneva of Pierce City, MO; one son,
Darrell Brown of Pierce City, MO; one daughter, Dorita Dennison of Pierce City, MO; eight grandchildren, Patrick Brown, Paula Brown, Marc Brown, Stephanie Aust, Stacy Harvill, Angela Wrobleski, Kimberly Avondet, and Darren Brown; two half sisters; two half brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sons, David, Dennis, and Doyle Brown.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church in Pierce City, MO on Monday, December 24, 2012, from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM. Services will follow the visitation at the First Baptist Church in Pierce City, MO on Monday, December 24, 2012, beginning at 2:30 PM with Rev. Mike Langford officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery in Pierce City, MO.
