Betty Hatmaker, 81 of Acworth, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon in the Hillcrest Church. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. She will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs Hatmaker was born in Marietta and had lived in Acworth for 42 years. She retired as a bookkeeper from B&E Plumbing, which she was 1/2 owner, and was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Samples of Woodstock, Judy Chamness of Acworth, Gayle Cook of Acworth and Terri Lyon of Canton; sons, Larry Millwood, Johnny Millwood and Dale Millwood all of Acworth; sister, Opal Ingram Logan of Acworth; 26 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 on Friday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA. 30101 770-974-3133.
