George Kenneth Foy , 38, of the 2400 block of Ballentine Blvd., was called to rest Aug. 1, 2004. George, a Norfolk native, was a graduate of Maury High School, Class of 1984. George did great service to his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force and was a loving son and father. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Dontrell Humphrey of Norfolk; parents, George and Irene Foy, both of Norfolk; a brother, Anthony A. Foy (Ethel) of Virginia Beach; maternal grandmother, Mildred Coleman and paternal grandmother, Annie Dukes, both of Norfolk; one niece, two nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A homegoing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 990 Anna St. one hour prior to the service for the procession to the chapel. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
