Pauline was a daughter of Ira Truman Nathaniel Miller and Rebecca Ellen "Ella" Woods-Miller. Her family moved from Ohio when she was about twelve years old to the Choctaw County area of Oklahoma. She married Michael Earnest Anderson on 3 Mar 1912 in Frogmore, Choctaw, OK. They had eleven children; Henry, Ellen, Grace, Earnest, Irene, Lorene, Neva, Rebecca, Dueward, Lala, Erma Anderson.
