Augustus "Guss" Doshier was the son of William and Atsey Doshier. Born at Yellville, Arkansas, he married Versie Willcutt in Searcy County, Arkansas on September 21, 1910. The 1920 U.S. Census lists their children as Lydia, Bud, and Blanche. Guss died at Catoosa, Oklahoma due to cancer at the age of 36. I spoke with a relative a while back and they thought that Gus was killed in a Refinery Explosion???
