Annie M. Steffan was born on April 22, 1870 in Palmer, Putnam Co, Ohio. Her father John Steffan b1842 was 28 and her mother Mary Zink Steffan was 25. She married Joseph Klass on April 24, 1888 in Liberty, Putnam, Ohio. They had seven known children in the 15 years between 1889 and 1905. Annie was known to have six sisters and three brothers - most younger than her. She passed away on March 15, 1960 in Lima, Allen Co, Ohio while visiting relatives at the age of 89. She was laid to rest near her husband Joseph who had died some 22 years earlier. Four of her children are listed below to date.
