James W, Focht, 80, of Stone Creek Road, Huntingdon, died at 6:30 a,m, Tuesday, April 30, 1974 at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He had been in failing health for the past month. A native of Huntingdon, he was
born May 10, 1898 to James 0. and Jennie (Walters) Focht,
On April 13, 1923, he was wed to former Margaret Donovan in
Elkton, Md. She survives, along with one daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Madeline) Jamison of Boalsburg, formerly of Huntingdon, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Daniel (Patsy) Hammond of Boalsburg and Mrs. Greg (Carol) Henry of Gettysburg. In addition, there is one great grandchild, James Hammond at home. Five brothers and sisters remain, Mrs. Helen Kirkpatrlck,Altoona; Mrs Chet (Mary) Wolfe
Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Miller and Thomas, all of Huntingdon and Fred, Canton, Ohio. The deceased was a member
of the Abbey Reformed United Church of Christ Huntingdon.
He had been employed by the old Susquehanna Silk Mill of Huntingdon and later by Owens-Corning Flberglas, retiring in 1958.private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family on Friday, May 3, at the
peters funeral home In Huntingdon. The Rev. Samuel Fisher
will preside and burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon.Friends may call at the funeralhome from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
