Jo Ella Ross, 81, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Robert M. Castle, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Wells Funeral Home. Viewing will be 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was a lifetime member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. R.L. Castle, where she remained until her health failed. She was active in the Choir, Mission II and the True and Tried Circle. She loved being around children and watching them grow up. She retired from the YMCA after 20 years.

Survivors include, Longtime friend Fannie Smith and God Children, Reginald, Bonnie, Carol (Tottie), and Karen Harris; Nieces, Sharon Sessions, Virginia (Sylvester) Rose and sons, Derrick and Greg and Leta (Eric) Lofton and daughters, Ashley and Andrea Davis. She is remembered with honor by friends, Erma Petties, Rosa Hall, Rosemary Davis and Mabel Mallett; Stepdaughters, Darlean and Linda, and Mary; other friends and family.

In lieu of flowers or food donations may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
